Using Draps
Draps is a marketplace for islanders based in Jersey, Channel Islands. You must be sixteen or over to hold an account, and each member may hold one account. You are responsible for everything listed, bought or messaged from it.

Listing a piece
Photographs must be your own and must show the piece as it is today. Describe wear honestly — marks, repairs, alterations and missing fastenings. Counterfeit goods, unwashed items and anything you do not own outright may not be listed on Draps.

Buying
Offers are made in messages and can be countered by either side. Once an offer is accepted both members are expected to follow through. Buyers cover any delivery cost agreed with the seller unless collection is arranged.

Payment
Draps does not process, hold or handle payments. Buyer and seller settle directly, by whatever method they both agree — cash on collection, bank transfer or otherwise. Check the piece before you part with money, and meet somewhere public.

Collection and delivery
Most pieces move by parish drop-off or by arrangement between islanders. Meet in a public place where you can. Off-island shipping is at the seller's discretion and at the buyer's cost.

Completing and rating
A deal is complete when the seller confirms handover and the buyer confirms receipt. It is then filed in both accounts and each side may leave a rating. Second-hand pieces are sold as described; if a piece is materially different from its listing, raise it with the other member within forty-eight hours and report it to us.

Conduct
Keep messages civil and on-island. Harassment, pressure tactics, requests for payment before a piece is agreed and repeat no-shows lead to removal without notice.

Liability
Draps connects buyers and sellers; we do not own or inspect the pieces listed. Our liability in any dispute is limited to the fees we took on that sale.

Changes
We may update these terms as the marketplace grows. Material changes are notified by email at least fourteen days before they take effect.

Law
These terms are governed by the law of Jersey and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Royal Court of Jersey.
